Put a Ring On It

Hi lovelies! Lisa here! How is everyone doing?

I know I’m not the only girl who does this, but whenever one of my friends gets engaged and the hugging/squealing/jumping around inevitably ensues, the first thing I want to do is see the bling! I do not envy guys one bit…picking out a ring that a girl is going to wear every day for the rest of her life can’t be easy, but that being said, I’ve never really seen an engagement ring I didn’t like. Some girls rock a classic solitaire, others dazzle in colorful precious stones, and still others wear stunning family heirlooms. When it’s a symbol of love this enduring, every ring is perfect. I know they’re super popular and certainly nothing new, but I always love seeing ring shots from weddings and engagement shoots. I always wonder how the guy picked the ring out, what the girl’s reaction was the first time she saw it, and how they must have felt on the day it all led up to. Plus, ring shots can be super creative and fun! Here are some of my favorites.

Shoes, mason jar, billy ball,  Tiffany’s box, striped straws, macaronsrock candy, crownlemon, peaches, robin’s eggs, baseball

Seriously, there are endless possibilities for cute and creative ring shots. Some ideas to consider are with food, accessories, flowers, paper goods, something sentimental to your relationship, or something seasonal.

Got any more ideas? Let’s hear ’em!

Love,

Lisa
