Last season we had the tremendous honor of being selected as the floral design team for a special wedding celebration that unfolded in the middle of a Michigan May. Out of respect for the client’s wishes I will not be sharing any faces of the couple, their families, or loved ones but I am able to share the floral elements we created, which were some of my favorites from the 2022 wedding season. I’ve always had a penchant for a black-hue accent in any design palette, and the opportunity to find ways to make it soft and approachable is a creative challenge I greatly enjoy. Hopefully you’ll agree with me, once you see the images below, that we not only met this creative challenge but exceeded it, too.

From the near perfect weekend temperatures we were blessed to design, set up, and tear down in, a trusting and kind client who made our jobs very easy, my crew of devoted designers, plus a team of dependable professionals led by our friend Kelly at All Buttoned Up Events, this was a highlight for us and I’m delighted I get to share it with you here, even if in a small dose.
